Long time no see!

Long time no see.
I was a little busy and in early July I went to the United states for a week. It was the first time for me to be in the US, but the symposium schedule was very hard so I didn't go sightseeing much. The last day I went to two museums-museum of fine arts(MFA) and Isabella stewart gardner museum(ISGM). Both were fantastic and I could have a great time(except the damned lunch :P at the 1st floor cafe of MFA )

I do not have much knowledge of the paintings, so what I liked most were the furnitures and the vessels of various ages. I was facinated by the details of the Egyptian ornaments. And there was a room filled with musical instruments. Even though it was not so big it was a perfect place for me. I can definitely say that it was the best for me. :)

And the ISGM;
I was looking forward to go there, for I subscribed their Podcast. They recorded the musics in their tapestry room. However they had a season-off in early summer so I didn't expect to hear live plays in there.
The museum was not big but it was full of adorable goods, not only paintings and furnitures but also letters, books and other antiques. And in the tapestry room, a pianist seemed to reherse. He played some sonatas and I was sitting there for a while, listening the echoes. His play filled the room and the whole museum-I spent the last few minutes in the ISGM watching the beautiful inner court filled with the sound of Beethoven's piano sonata. It was one of the best moment of my stay in Boston.

Now I'm back in Korea. I'm not so busy now but I have to write my master's thesis within a semester so it will be one of the hardest autumn in my whole life. Well, I decided to be easy in this July. I'll prepare for the research until July and start in August.
I'm going to a ice show "Super match" this weekend. I hope to get some good picture but this time my seat is not good as the FOI, so do not expect too much... :) (I do not mean my FOI pictures were good. But.. it will become poorer) I am so excited- Now I can see Yagudin!!!!

It's very hot in here. It seems that the temperature is higher than usual. I'll post soon. Hope to meet all of you with a nice shot of Yagudin. Take care!
