Too busy, but I have to ask this.

How was the final group of the US championship men's FS????????????

I heard that Johnny Weir and Evan Lysacek had got the same score, and just watched their video clips. They were great!!!!!! Then someone told me that there was a chain of seven standing ovations, including the two final members. It means that all of the competitors in the final group got the ovation; What happened????? Is there anyone who can tell me a summary, or a detailed explanation? Oh, I am so anxious to see the video, but I'm now so busy and do not have some composure nor enough time

Watching European

Too hard schedule-the final due of the draft was set to monday morning, and European championship has started! (US championship was also scheduled, but I did not watch it.)
As you might know, the men's single have finished choosing Tomas Verner as a new European champion. And yesterday(for me, today-it started 2:00 AM, finished 6:00 AM) Domnina & Shabalin were crowned. In fact, I preferred Delobel & Schoenfelder but both of the two pairs were great. In my opinion, the free dance program of D&S was superior to the program of D&S... OMG. Their initials are same.-_-;;;;;;;The Russian D&S program was superior, especially the concept and the story. :) It made them to win two gold medals in the GPF and European.
As a figure skating fan in Korea, the hardest time throughout the 07/08 season is almost finished. This year, after the European, I do not need to stay up all nignt watching small streaming videos until the final world championship. The four continental championship will be held in Seoul. Although I cannot go to the rink except friday, I can watch the TV broadcast in the evening, not night or dawn. XD I will see the men's free skating and the ice dancing free dance(have bought the friday's daily ticket). Daisuke Takahashi, Jeffrey Buttle, Virtue & Moir...!!!! I wish Chan would also participate in the 4CC. Well, good luck with your world championship, and good luck with your next season. I hope to see Chan in the GPF of the next season. :D

Not so easy, but easier than others

Hi there.
Now I'm making a new matlab code. I wanted to make with JAVA or something, but it turned out to be impossible, because I have little experiences in JAVA programming.
Using matlab is easy; In my oppinion, it is one of the easiest programming tool in the world. But, this time I have some additional difficulties. The main system was designed with the OOP mind, and I have to concentrate on the concept much more than usual.
After spending four monthes studying the basic OOP theories and the UML, my style have been changed. I make more functions as handling classes and methods. Sometimes I make useless functions like setter and getter. I know it must be different programming with JAVA and matlab, but I cannot help it. Well, I'm just a beginner in the field of computer programming, and I hope I will get better soon.

Last thursday, my cousin had a baby girl. How cute!! XD She is the first niece for me. My cousin is also a graduate of the same university, so he lives an apartment not far from mine. I expect I can see the girl frequently.

Spent this weekend watching Canadian national

How was your weekend?
Now it's sunday night. I had to read some papers for the draft due to next Tuesday, but the plan turned out to be impossible when I was able to watch Canadian national figure championship.

There is a fourteen hour's difference between Korea and Vancouver. The men's short program on Friday started at 13:00 - it means that I had to watch the broadcast at 6:00 on Saturday. I did not sure my getting up early enough, and there were a lot of other problems. So I decided to stay up all night. It was nearly 9 o'clock when SP finished, but I could not sleep enough because I had a meeting at Saturday afternoon. I came home just before midnight, and again, I could not sleep. The men's free program would start at 04:30 A.M. I managed to watch the first and second group, but finally fell asleep watching the final group warming up. When I got up, it was Sunday 10:00 A.M., and the ice skating free dance just started.

I have fasinated by Patrick Chan's skating since I saw his movie skating at 07 Eric Bompard. He finished his SP in the second place. Except for the 3A, his performance was great. Chris Mabee
was also great(I still cannot understand his SP score; he deserved to more score enough for the second place), and Jeffrey Buttle was excellent - I wanted to see his skating his new short program "Pagliacci" without a miss, but he chose "Adios nonino".
And Free program... OMG. Patrick was perfect. I felt the similar emotion which I felt watching Yagudin's "Winter" for the first time. They both showed clean jumps, nice spins, powerful steps, and the most important of all; powers and passions fascinating audiences. It is too bad that this great performance was just for the national. I revived his FS for more than 20 times.

I want to tell Patrick like this: more than 100 Korean figure skating fans watched your performance by live(it was 6:00 A.M. in here!), and more than 10 times of them saw the recorded clips of yours today. Your FS charmed all of us as well as the Canadian audiences who gave you a standing ovation. You are worthy of the standing ovation!!

It takes too long time to write this extremely short text. I hope my writing skill get better soon.

p.s.
Do you know that the unofficial(but the first) Korean fan club of Patrick Chan is named "Chantastic"? It comes from Chan + fantastic. :D
This clip is a montage made by myself, to celebrate Patrick's 17th birthday(It was December 31st, 2007).

Just started a new blog

Welcome to my blog!

Well, I'm a Korean so English is not my mother tongue.
I want to study abroad but my English is so poor, especially in writing and speking. Also, I just started to study Russian and want to be able to write my daily note with Russian within a year.
I eager for some help, like pointing out weird phrases in my posts and teaching some useful things.

My original blog is here :

If you can understand Korean, please visit the original blog also. :) There are some articles on my daily lice, black teas, and some figure skaters.
